If you have a green thumb, a passion for horticulture, or dabble in amateur gardening, you’re probably interested in learning how to care for plants. But if you didn’t grow up in a gardening family, you may have to go to the library and borrow a “how-to” book. Alternatively, you could find a local gardening club doing work you like, and put in the hours and listen.
You could as well attend a gardening event or conference where you can listen to professional horticulturists lecture on the tips and tricks of caring for your leafy friends. During these events, you could meet them and maybe even get their autographs if you’re that much of an enthusiast.
These events will focus on horticultural technical advancements, new inventions, thinking, and subjects becoming increasingly important. Such subjects include sustainability, climate change, and plant health risks. It’s also a chance to consider the relevance of traditional talents in technological progress. Individual workshops will examine various issues that influence modern gardening. Attendees can learn about the most recent research findings and practical horticultural treatments.
